Introduction
Gerundium [gerund] je sloveso, ktoré sa chová ako podstatné meno odkazujúce na dej, proces či stav.
Form
Gerundium sa skladá zo základného tvaru slovesa a -ing.
Example
- He is good at ballroom dancing.
- She enjoys playing with her friends in the park.
- Counting to ten is easy.
- Reading the newspaper is important.
- I like going to museums.
- She is always listening to that song.
Use
Gerundium používame ako podstatné meno, ktoré odkazuje na stav, proces či dej.
Odvodzuje sa zo slovesa pridaním prípony „-ing“, ktorá z neho tvorí podstatné meno.
